How to buy steel garages
Buying a modular steel garage is easy, simple, and surprisingly inexpensive. There are a few things you can do to make the process easier still:>>
- Know the space you have available for your garage project.
- Determine the size of the steel building you want to construct.
- Determine the height of the building.
- Decide what type, size, and the positioning of any garage doors, walk in doors, and windows you may need.
- Determine what type of anchoring system your garage will need.
- Decide on color combination you want to use.

Your dealer will probably start with a basic frame and top with a preset price, and from there, you will talk about leg length, sides, and ends, the number and type of doors and windows, and where they are to be placed, and any other options you choose.
When you have finished with the design on paper, you will be given a final price, and in most cases, you will be asked to pay 10 to 15% down, and the rest will be due on installation.
